Naveed contacted us about some noises coming from his 964’s transmission. After dealing with several shops that couldn’t figure out what the issue was, we decided it was best to drop the transmission and inspect it.
Turns out, the wavetrack LSD that was in the G50/20 6-speed gearbox was shimmed incorrectly, leading to the worst case scenario - a full rebuild. Luckily, we knew the right people and immediately sent the unit out for rebuild.
After a few weeks, the gears were rebuild, a new wavetrack unit was installed, and Naveed was on his way.
